Engaging With Our Faith in the City September 9, 2017 @ 9:00 am – 4:00 pm Little Lights Hopkins Center, rear basement

Spend a day in the city with Coracle and Little Lights. We’ll be walking around the SE area of DC, engaging with the community, hearing from some locals, and thinking about how spiritual formation gets legs in Kingdom Action in the city.  We’ll start at Little Lights on 12^th St in SE and spend some time across the river in Anacostia. We’ll be challenged to connect our faith with issues of life in DC today. 9-  9:30:               Coffee, Welcome & Group Introductions

9:30-  10:00–     Intro to Little Lights/Community

10:00-11:00–     Conversation on Race

11:00-11:30–      Walk the neighborhood/other Little Lights locations

11:30–                   Depart for lunch

11:45-1:00           Lunch at Art-Drenaline Café (Anacostia Art Center, SE)

1:15-2:45              Penn Ave Baptish Church Visit with Kendrick Curry

3:00-4:00          Debrief/Pray at Little Lights new SE location
